Best Rate Promise

Best Rate Promise: We guarantee that the rates available on our hotel’s official website (lansonplace.com/causewaybay) are the best available rates you will find online. Should you find a better rate for the same room type, dates, and booking conditions on any another website, we will match that rate and provide an additional 10% discount from the rate found. 

To Submit a Claim:  

  1. Please provide your reservation details, including the confirmation number and dates as applicable. 
  1. Please specify the website where you found the lower rate than our official website, along with a screenshot or link. 
  1. Any additional information supporting your claim. 

Successful Claim: If we can verify your claim, we’ll match the qualifying Comparison rate and give you an extra 10% discount on the room rate found. 

Terms and Conditions: 

  1. You must find a qualifying comparison rate and submit a claim via email to rsvn.lphk@lansonplace.com within 24 hours of booking the initial reservation through the official website, and at least 72 hours before the standard check-in time at the hotel. The initial reservation means the original reservation made on our website and does not include modified or cancelled reservations. 
  1. The qualifying comparison rate (meaning the lower rate on another website) must be for the same hotel, room type (including but not limited to similar room size, bedding, views, and amenities), rate type, number of guests, dates, length of stay and rate rules (including but not limited to cancellation policies). 
  1. Our Reservation Officer will contact you within 48 hours of receiving your claim. Rate comparisons will be made net of any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate, and the comparison rate must still be available and accessible by the officer processing the claim at the time we validate the claim. A claim may be invalidated with any changes made to the reservation after our approval, including name changes. This may result in a change in rate or cancellation of the reservation. 
  1. We do not accept rates available on opaque or auction websites that do not disclose the hotel brand until the booking is completed, rates on sites where the buyer may need to wait a certain period of time before receiving the reservation confirmation, rates on sites that require a log-in or certain credit card to view or book, package rates that include a combination of a room and travel, airfare, cruise, car rental, etc; we cannot guarantee that room plus other components or amenities such as non-breakfast meals, tickets, gas coupons, etc., can be applied to the reservation. 
  1. Our Best Rate Promise does not apply to rates that are part of loyalty programs, discounts, or special membership rates. 
  1. The qualifying Comparison Rate must be bookable on another website. Advertised or enquiry-only rates do not qualify. Our Best Rate Promise does not apply to rates found offline, negotiated corporate rates, group rates, rates requiring membership in a club or other organization, direct mail or email solicitations or other rates that are not available to the general public. We reserve the right to deny a claim if the availability of the Competing Rate cannot be independently verified at the time we process the claim. 
  1. If the qualifying Comparison Rate is in a different currency from the rate booked on our official website, it will be converted into the same currency as the rate offered on our website using the exchange rate as published in www.xe.com in place at the time the initial reservation was made. Discrepancies may occur between the rate on the hotel official website and the qualifying Comparison Rate to differences in exchange rate sources. 
  1. If the rate discrepancy is solely due to currency exchange calculations, we reserve the right to reject the claim. 
  1. We may deny a claim where the difference between the rates is less than one Percent (1%). 
  1. A claim will be accepted in all languages supported on our official website. 
  1. To submit a claim, you must agree to the Best Rate Promise Terms & Conditions on our official website. 
  1. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to determine the validity of any claim and whether it meets the Terms & Conditions. Any dispute arising out of or related to the Best Rate Promise and the Terms & Conditions must be brought against the Hotel at which the reservation was booked in the courts of Hong Kong in which the Hotel is located and is subject to its local law. Such dispute must be brought in a party’s individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.  
  1. To the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right to revise, amend, supplement, suspend or discontinue the Best Rate Promise at any time in our sole discretion and without prior notice. This will not affect claims which have already been submitted to us in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
