Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance
A recognised National Intangible Cultural Heritage, the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance is one of Hong Kong’s most iconic Mid-Autumn Festival traditions, dating back over 140 years. A 67-metre fire dragon adorned with 12,000 burning incense sticks is paraded by over 300 performers, accompanied by a small LED dragon carried by children. Continuing the tradition that prays for peace and safety, the Dance showcases a cherished, time-honoured custom in Hong Kong.
